Vehicles which have FASTag enabled on them, do not have to stop at toll gates as charges are deducted from the prepaid account when the vehicle is moving. Reasons for a FASTag blacklist

1. Insufficient balance:

One of the main reasons for a blacklisted FASTag is insufficient balance in your account. If your FASTag is linked to any of your payment wallets, you might not realise that your wallet is not recharged, which is one of the FASTag blacklisted reasons.

2. Blacklisting by a law enforcement agency:

Sometimes, if your vehicle is on the radar of any law enforcement agency due to frequent rule breaking, your NHAI FASTag blacklist might be happening. If it is for this reason, you will have to find out who or which agency is blocking the FASTag and request the unlisting of the FASTag from the FASTag blacklist.

To activate blacklisted FASTag, please recharge the FASTag as soon as possible. If the problem still persists, please call your bank customer care number toll-free number to understand the reason for the blacklisting. Tackle the problem accordingly depending upon what the NHAI FASTag blacklisted reason, which can be due to lack of sufficient balance or due to restrictions of a law enforcement agency.

You can simply check your FASTag balance through your DSC App.

1. Click on ‘FASTag’ button from the bottom of the home screen

If your FASTag is not working please check your FASTag balance. FASTag under Blacklisted’/’Low Balance’/’Suspended mode don’t work at the toll plaza. FASTags are issued by various banks / issuers, please check the minimum balance required for an activa FASTag from your issuer and ensure sufficient balance all the time
